The first museum to present the musical work of Georg Philipp Telemann (1681-1767), founded by its sponsor, the Hamburger Telemann-Gesellschaft (HTG), requires a sustainable financial basis to secure the research, maintenance, and promotion of his extensive musical work. This funding is to be secured from the museum's current income and donations from the Foundation.
